New Heritage Sailboats Available
Little River Marine announces the availability of a sailboat package for their popular Heritage 15 & 18 line of rowing dories. These Heritage models make great sailing craft that is easily convert back into sliding seat rowing skiffs.
Sliding seat rowing is widely recognized as one of the best exercises for a healthy heart, using all major muscles equally, with pounding or jarring. The addition of the sailing kit makes this little craft fun and good for you.
Available in either 15 foot or 18 foot lengths, the Heritage can carry up to 550 pounds. When not sailing, either model can be rowed as either a single (one person) or double (two person) boat. A motor mount and other accessories are also available.
The Heritage 15 sailboat weighs about 100 pounds, so it is easily car-top able with two people. The double molded liner makes it self-rescuing– meaning one can re-enter a capsized boat and continue to row.
