An overview of where to purchase, how to order, and shipping prices.

Little River is now accepting applications for overseas distributors, and for two new distributors in the U.S. One does not have to have a store, just a passion for people, rowing, and our boats. Inventory is required, and they must sell Little River Marine brand rowing shells and skiffs exclusively – other types of boats are acceptable (canoes, kayaks, etc).

How to Order a Boat

Where can I buy? Little River sells both direct from the factory and in certain regions through non-stocking dealers. Refer to the listing or map above for full details.

Our founder, Bill Larson, is the designer of our fleet, and a former Masters Nationals Medalist in sculling.  Because our background is racing, our skiffs and shells have a lot more Engineering and Quality (LINK TO CHOOSING A BOAT)  in them than most recreational products. We also feel that as designers and competitive oarsman, we can offer you an understanding of the technology and diversity of the sport that few others have.

How do I place my order?

To order, simply call our shop at 1-352-378-5025. Or you may E-Mail us with the details and a number where we can reach you.  chris@littlerivermarine.com

How long does it take to get a boat?

From May to December it normally takes from 2 to 6 weeks from time of deposit to the boat being ready to ship. From January to June it takes a little longer, from 4 to 9 weeks from deposit to ready for shipping.

How do I pay?

To order, a $1000 deposit is required. We can do this by Master Card, Visa, or electronic check. Then when your boat is completed, the balance can be paid with a cashier’s check at time of delivery or paid with a wire transfer or credit card prior to shipping.

What does shipping cost?

The cost to deliver your boat ranges from $1.50/mile to $2.50/mile from the factory to your desired delivery location.  The lower shipping costs require a minimum of four (4) boats to ship out together to a similar geographic region.  The higher price is an expedited cost for a single boat shipment.  In order to access the lower cost, additional time may be required for other boats to be completed to meet the minimum.

How does it get here?

We ship to New England locations on our trucks and trailers right to your door.
To all other locations in North America we use Private carriers who carry only shells and specialty kayaks, and who are aware of the special handling issues. Internationally and to remote areas, we ship via Fed Ex Freight.

Shipping Prices

What does shipping cost?
Shipping costs roughly $1.50 – $2.50 per mile from our factory in Pocasset, Massachusetts.  We do our best to group multiple boats together to help control costs of deliveries going to a given geographic region.
